Ayurvedic home remedies for weight loss

Being overweight is constant complaint nowadays for everyone. Excess fat can lead to diabetes an even some high blood pressure. These are because of overeating. Some people tend to eat more when they are depressed, angry, bored and in a relaxed environment.

Some causes for overweight are:

  • overeating
  • Incorrect lifestyle
  • Improper diet
  • Lack of exercise
  • Stress
  • Hypothyroidism. People suffering from hypothyroidism tend to gain more weight.

Ayurvedic home remedies for weight loss.

Remedy 1:

Ingredients:

  • Lukewarm water
  • Black pepper powder
  • lemon juice
  • Honey

Take 1 glass of lukewarm water and 1 tablespoon of black pepper powder and 4 tablespoons of lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey mix it well and drink it daily.

Remedy 2:

Ingredients:

  • Horsegram
  • Onion slices
  • Rock Salt (Saindhava Lavana according to Ayurveda)

Take a 50g of horse gram and soak in water for some time and boil it. And add onion slices and rock salt to the boiled horse gram and mix it and eat it. It helps in tightening of body fat.

Remedy 3:

Ingredients:

  • Hot water
  • Lemon Juice
  • Honey

Take one glass of hot water and 4 tablespoons of lemon juice and one tablespoon of honey and mix it well and drink it on every morning on empty stomach.

Remedy 4:

Ingredients:

  • Hot water
  • Lemon Juice
  • Honey

In a pan boil 1 liter of water and add 1/4 teaspoon of coriander seeds and 1/4 teaspoon of cumin seeds and 1/4 teaspoon of fennel seeds and mix it well for let it heat for 5 minutes and then cool it. Take out the strain and fill the juice in a bottle and drink it throughout the day and also fresh the solution every day.

Along with this eating

  • 100 grams of  raw grapes daily,
  • Eat boiled cauliflowers,
  • Congee: Take two glasses of Congee daily
  • Vegetable soup: Add vegetable pieces and boil them like a juice and add some peppermint for flavor and make it like a soup by tempering.
