Dalia / Indian Porridge Recipe for Weight Loss

Ingredients for making dalia are
- Broken wheat
- Moong dal
- chilli powder
- tumeric powder
- green chilli
- grated ginger
- deseeded tomatoes
How to prepare
Wash and soak 1/4 cup of broken wheat and 1/4 cup of moong dal together for half-an-hour and then heat 2 or 3 table spoons of ghee in a pressure cooker, saute (fried quickly in a little hot fat.) half the table spoon of cumin until it sizzles and fry 1 tables spoon of granted ginger until it fragrant. Now add 1/2 cup deseeded tomatoes and salt as per required level, and some turmeric powder and cook it after some time add 1/2 table spoon of chilli powder and saute for a minute and now add some veggies and saute for few minutes, Now drain complete from dal and broken wheat and these to pan and saute for 2 to 3 minutes slightly in high flame and now add 2 cups of water, cook it up to 2 whistles, finally stir well the pressure goes off. Check salt and add according to your taste.
