Green tea for weight loss
Green tea originated in China. Green tea is a type of tea that is made from Camellia sinensis leaves. Green tea is known to be a healthier substitute to normal beverages like coffee and other types of tea, because of its lower caffeine content. The fermentation process is not done with green tea such that it is more healthier than black tea. Green tea can be taken in any form; say you may try iced, hot, by adding natural herbs or dab of lemon juice. It is suggested that to take about 2 to 3 cups daily.
Making of Green tea
- Place the filled tea strainer or sieve into an empty mug or cup. Pour the heated water into the mug, and add over the tea leaves. Steep the tea leaves for 2 – 3 minutes. Let your tea cool down for a few moments and enjoy your perfect cup of green tea.
Green tea raises the level of antioxidants. Antioxidant catechins in green tea boost metabolism and helps burn fat along with this EGCG found in green tea that speeds up the body’s metabolism. Polyphenol present in green tea acts a fat burner which helps in burning the fat near abdominal region and other fat accumulated places which internally helps in weight loss. Green tea helps you lose weight by increasing the metabolism.
