Home remedies for Insomnia

Insomnia, also known as sleeplessness, is a sleep disorder where people have trouble sleeping.  Insomnia is typically followed by daytime sleepiness, low energy, irritability, and a depressed mood.

Insomnia is commonly separated into three types:

  • Transient insomnia – occurs when symptoms last from a few days to a few weeks.
  • Acute insomnia – also called short-term insomnia. Symptoms persist for several weeks.
  • Chronic insomnia – this type lasts for months, and sometimes years.

Causes of Insomnia :

  • Insomnia is linked with any other health condition but in other reasons it may caused by asthma pain and certain depression.

Home remedies for Insomnia

Remedy 1

Ingredients

  • Banana : It contains tryptophan which can stabalizes mood, Controls anxiety, and induces sleep.
  • Cumin seeds :

How to prepare and use

Take a ripe banana and mash it and add 1/2 tea spoon of roasted cumin seeds. Mix both the ingredients well and consume this before going to sleep.

Dosage

  • Sleep every night before going to sleep

Remedy 2

Ingredients

  • Celery : It contains magnesium, helps neurotransmitters by sending signal to the brain to relax and sleep.
  • Honey

How to prepare and use

Take 2 teaspoons of celery juice and add one tea spoon honey to it mix both ingredients well. consume the mixture

Dosage

  • Consume the mixture once daily.

Remedy 3

Ingredients

  • Nut meg powder
  • Milk

How to prepare and use

Take a pinch of nut meg powder and add it to a glass of milk and mix both ingredient well and drink it

Dosage

  • Consume the mixture once daily.
