Natural Home Remedies for Mumps
Mumps which is also known as epidemic parotitis a contagious disease caused by a virus that passes from one person to another through saliva, nasal secretions or even cough and sneeze.
Symptoms will be like swelling of throat, neck, and cheeks, Loss of appetite, Painful swallowing.
There are some natural home remedies to cure Mumps they are as
- Ginger: It helps in reducing the pain and swelling.As it is rich in anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties.
Take a ginger and make into a thick paste with water and apply in the swollen area to get relief from pain and swelling.
- Aleo vera gel: It helps in reducing the pain and swelling.
Take a Aloe vera leaf and peel of the skin and also throne and extract the gel . Apply the gel on the infected area to get relief from pain and swelling.
- Baking Soda: They are rich in alkaline properties helps in restricting the development of mumps
Take 3 teaspoons of baking soda and mix it with water to form a paste. Apply it on the cheeks and leave it for 2 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water.
Take 3 teaspoons of asparagus powder and add three teaspoons of fenugreek powder to it and mix it well along with water and make it like a paste and apply the paste the swollen area to get quick relief.
- Orange juice :- It speeds up the healing process
Take an orange and extract juice from it and add lukewarm water in equal proportion and drink it.
